RCRA Academy
The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Academy is a four day, beginner- to intermediate-level training course designed to provide a broad overview of a wide variety of RCRA topics including enforcement, compliance, permitting, and corrective action (See outline below). In addition to the general RCRA topics that will be addressed, several specific, more intermediate-level topics will be discussed including financial assurance for corrective action; institutional controls; Subpart AA, BB, CC regulations; and special topics of interest for groundwater investigations. The target audience for the course is federal and state RCRA personnel with zero to three years of RCRA experience. However, certain sessions will also enable more experienced personnel to expand their understanding of RCRA and become familiar with recent RCRA-related developments. The RCRA Academy training course has been structured with special sessions presented concurrently to allow the participant to focus on a particular topic of interest.
