Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are pervasive contaminants found in soil, sediment, water, and biota across the US and the globe. Understanding potential PFAS concerns at a given site can be challenging based on the diversity of extant PFAS, the multitude of potential PFAS sources, as well as the range of sampling, analytical, and data analysis tools commercially available.
