OLEM Training Team
The OLEM Training Coordination Team works to ensure that training is well-coordinated, timely, and effective across OLEM's Programmatic and Regional Offices. The Team's focus is on identifying and meeting the training needs of hazardous and solid waste personnel in order to provide them with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to carry out regulatory and enforcement responsibilities with confidence and expertise. The Training Team's goal is to streamline the flow of training information, foster discussion on key issues, and support practical, solutions-focused problem-solving by strengthening communication and collaboration among program offices, regions, states, and tribes. Training Coordination Team Mission The OLEM Training Coordination Team was created in 1986 as the OSWER Training Forum to respond to training needs of EPA and state personnel involved in solid and hazardous waste cleanup and emergency response. The members of the forum coordinate their efforts to provide training to EPA, federal, state, and tribal personnel responsible for regulatory and enforcement activities. |
