Transportation Rail Incident Preparedness and Response (TRIPR) Training
Hosted by U.S. EPA
Regions 5

EVENT DESCRIPTION: As part of a cooperative effort to improve planning, preparedness and response capabilities for an incident involving the transportation of crude oil and other flammable liquids by rail, we are holding free, one-day Transportation Rail Incident Preparedness and Response (TRIPR) training classes. These sessions provide participants with guidance and resources to better prepare first responders for High-Hazard Flammable Train (HHFT) incidents.

INTENT: Expand awareness of risk-based response concepts and share lessons learned from previous HHFT incidents by leveraging the expertise of public safety agencies, rail carriers, and industry subject matter experts.

TARGET AUDIENCE: First responders and others providing pre-incident planning, training, response, or recovery functions for incidents involving rail transportation of flammable liquids.

*This course is offered free of charge to all registrants who are confirmed to attend.*
