Air Permitting Workshop
AIR-300
Hosted by Northwest Environmental Training Center

This one-day course will provide an overview of the regulatory framework for air emissions sources in Washington State.  Air emissions are subject to the jurisdiction of one of thirteen regulatory agencies responsible for enforcing air quality regulations in Washington, depending on location and nature of the stationary source of air emissions. Participants will be taught how to navigate through the differing regulatory agencies and be introduced to the triggers for regulatory applicability and allowed exemptions. Attendees will learn the latest procedures and processes that will result in the most timely and flexible permits. The course will also review key elements of the air quality permitting process, providing a thorough introduction to performance of emissions inventories, BACT analysis, dispersion modeling considerations, and health impact assessment
The course includes a robust discussion of the air permitting framework, specific elements of the permitting process, and an outline of the regulatory review and approval schedule.
Recommended for Government agency, industry, consultants and representatives responsible for and supporting the air permitting process.
