Additional Information:

This webinar will be EPA-only given the draft-deliberative and pre-decisional nature of a site strategy document.

A site strategy is an internal high-level planning and management tool, which documents a site’s overall assessment and remediation strategy to move a site forward to completion by:

(1) prioritizing high-level goals;
(2) outlining key Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) activities required to achieve site goals; and
(3) identifying key issues, challenges, and potential resolutions.

The site strategy can be used by the EPA project team to manage and communicate site priorities to regional and headquarters management, and to inform improved decision-making and coordination of project resources.

In this webinar participants will:

  • Learn what a site strategy is and its benefits as a site management tool.
  • Receive an introduction to the site strategy development process, concepts, and best practices.
  • Discuss the Superfund program’s site strategy initiative and available resources and support for remedial project managers.

This webinar is recommended for EPA remedial project managers of all levels who are considering developing a site strategy for their site or who are interested in learning more about the process and available resources.
