The Atlanta Beltline is a former railroad corridor encircling the inner city. Brownfields funds have been spent on assessment of this corridor. Revitalization plans include passive recreation and light-rail transportation. The corridor revitalization is already stimulating redevelopment of adjacent parcels. The Old Forth Ward Park was constructed with leveraged funding over multiple Brownfields properties and includes a major water feature. Transportation will be arranged by EPA.
