Course Description
Mission Statement:
To train personnel on the Intergovernmental Data Quality Task Force (IDQTF) Uniform Federal Policy (UFP) for Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPS). To enable personnel to participate as a member of a project team using the UFP-QAPP documents to develop, review, and implement QAPPs that:

Are consistent with the UFP,

Document the Systematic Planning Process, and
-
Support the generation/collection of defensible environmental data of known and document quality appropriate for their intended use.
Personnel Eligible
Target Audience:
Students include Department of Defense (all services), Department of Energy, Environmental Protection Agency, other Federal government personnel, representatives of Native American Tribes, and state environmental regulators. The course particularly targets personnel who develop, review, implement or use QAPPs, or personnel who have to communicate QAPPs, including, but not limited to:

Remedial Project Managers (RPMs)

On-Scene Coordinators

Site Assessment Managers

RCRA Facility Managers

EPA Enforcement Personnel

State and Tribal Regulators

Quality Assurance Personnel

DOE Program and Field Managers

Contractors and Oversight Officers

Laboratory Personnel
There is no tuition for any student.
To gain maximum benefit from this course, students should possess a basic knowledge of environmental quality systems.
