Establishing cleanup goals is one of the most important and yet often controversial aspects of addressing contaminated ground water. As such, this topic is being addressed by EPA's Ground Water Task Force (GWTF) - a workgroup established under EPA's "One Cleanup Program" Initiative to facilitate cross-agency collaboration on ground water issues.
