This course will provide an overview of the EPA-led PCB Cleanup and Disposal program. This is for anyone with an interest in PCBs, especially those who encounter PCBs at their cleanup sites. We will discuss what PCBs are, what the PCB program does, and information on the regulations governing PCBs (located at 40 CFR part 761). We will also look into how Superfund RPMs may coordinate with the PCB Program when and if PCBs are found at a Superfund site, as they can present a unique set of challenges.
