Technical Writing for RPMs
Hosted by U.S EPA
Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation

What does it mean to write in plain language? How do you utilize the techniques in RPM-specific documents like salients, fact sheets, and proposed plans? This interactive course will strengthen your skills and reinforce the mechanics of technical writing by joining theory with hands-on practice.

At the end of this day-long, in-person course, you will:

  • Recognize and apply Standard English.
  • Develop a command of the written style.
  • Learn to summarize effectively.
  • Analyze your intended audience.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of acceptable format, tone, and content.

Important Notice: Due to the content presented during a CEC course and the restrictions in place for non-citizens to enter federal buildings, international attendees are not permitted to attend CEC courses.
