The Operation Palmetto Bug Workshop has been designed as a single day discussion-based exercise to evaluate current response concepts, plans, and capabilities within South Carolina for a response to a widespread anthrax or other biological terrorist event. The workshop will focus on local, state, and federal integration procedures for an event of this type, with a strong emphasis on the transition from response to consequence management, and planning for long-term recovery.
