The desktop edition of the Brownfields Inventory Tool (BIT) operates from and stores site data on an individual personal computer. Tribes, Cities, and regional coalitions can use BIT to create site inventories; submit reports such as the multiple property profile form to the EPA; and log emergency response and other administrative information about brownfields and other environmental programs.
