The release of the final Effluent Limitation Guidelines (ELG) for construction sites by the EPA is one of the most significant changes in stormwater regulations since the NPDES permits. This course discusses the new policy in-depth with respect to discharge limits, timeline, application considerations and potential future implications. It will also cover the technology the EPA describes as capable of achieving these prescribed regulations, namely Advanced Treatment Systems (ATS) and Passive Treatment Systems (PTS).
