Purchase Card Training
Hosted by U.S. EPA

EPA's mandatory one-day training course which prepares EPA employees to become Government purchase cardholders or approving officials for the acquisition of limited office supplies, goods, and services in amounts not to exceed $2,500 per order. Class hours are normally 8:30am to 3:30pm including the open book final exam. Note that each cardholder must also have a trained approving official oversee their use of their purchase card. Further, as a result of recent GAO audits of the Federal Purchase Card Program, beginning FY'03 EPA approving officials are required to complete the same full day purchase card training as their cardholders including passing the final course exam.

NOTE: Current Purchase Cardholders and Approving Officials who have not had any refresher training in the last 3 years are strongly encouraged to also attend this course to become aware of the latest policy and procedures for effective use of the Government Purchase Card which is currently being closely monitored by OMB and Congress.

*This course is offered free of charge to all registrants who are confirmed to attend.*

Important Notice: Due to the content presented during a CEC course and the restrictions in place for non-citizens to enter federal buildings, international attendees are not permitted to attend CEC courses.
