The EPA Region 4 Sampling Workshop is a 3-Day course for EPA, State, Tribal and EPA Contractor personnel working on multimedia field sampling teams or managing multimedia field sampling projects for federal-lead response and potentially responsible party oversight. Major topics include quality system, data management, field documentation, media-specific sampling techniques, field measurement and test equipment, decontamination and IDW management, special protocols, sample management, role and capabilities of the regional lab, and hands-on sampling field exercises. This training provides a thorough overview of essential elements for planning and conducting sampling EPA sampling projects for Superfund and related multimedia investigations.
