Event Description: |
Learn how to use an interest-based approach to negotiation to improve your chances of reaching agreements that last. On the first day of this immersive training, you will learn practical negotiation techniques and engage in exercises to prepare you to negotiate. On the second day, you will practice your negotiation skills by participating in a multi-party negotiation role-play.

The target audience for this course is both experienced and newer OSCs and RPMs, enforcement and program staff; experienced staff will have the opportunity to brush up on negotiation skills and see negotiations from a new vantage point, while newer professionals will get a solid foundation in negotiation practice and skills. Participation in this course may count towards meeting the Negotiations Requirement under EPA Order 3500.1. Final determination is at the discretion of your manager. |
