This webinar will discuss an overview of Quality in the collection of Environmental Information and how the EPA Environmental Information Quality Policy (EPA Directive No. CIO 2105.4) impacts our work. We will discuss the application of the directive on EPA and non-EPA organizations (contractors) who collect, produce, evaluate, or use environmental information or conduct environmental information operations.  The talk will emphasize that EPA Environmental Information Quality Policy starts with documenting the planning process.  This includes developing a Quality Management Plan and a Quality Assurance Project Plan and applying a systematic planning process for environmental information operations.  The talk will highlight how to avoid potential consequences of not following the Policy when collecting environmental information or conducting environmental information operations.
