RCRA Corrective Action Facility Investigation Remedy Selection Track (FIRST) Toolbox Training
EPA Regions 3 and 7 partnered with States and Industry to evaluate the RCRA Corrective Action program for process improvements. This effort resulted in the development of the RCRA Facility Investigation Remedy Selection Track (FIRST) Toolbox for Corrective Action. This training brings together states, RCRA project managers, facility representatives, and consultants to learn about opportunities to improve corrective action using the FIRST approach.
The RCRA FIRST Toolbox is a set of tools for RCRA program and project managers to focus efforts and increase efficiencies during the RFI and RSP stages of a RCRA Corrective Action cleanup. The EPA encourages all RCRA Corrective Action program and project managers and staff to become acquainted with these tools and apply them when appropriate.
