This course will provide an overview of working within an EPA emergency response event for non-emergency response personnel in EPA Region 2. The course will cover:
• General structure and response concepts employed during a response to a major environmental event;
• Roles of Regional and HQ program offices;
• EPA's Response Support Corps;
• Common EPA response missions;
• Workflow process between the field, command post, and Regional Emergency Operations Center (REOC);
