Hazardous waste streams are reviewed from a cradle-to-grave perspective looking at the life cycle of waste from the point of generation to final disposition - recycling, treatment/reclamation, and disposal. This couse enables students to understand the terminology and principles associated with hazardous waste management and minimization, as well as new and existing techniques for recycling, reclamation, treatment, and disposal. This three day course will highlight state and federal regulations, followed by in depth case studies.
