Field Sampling Techniques Workshop
Class Description:
The Field Sampling Techniques Workshop will provide an opportunity for RCRA staff to gain the necessary framework in a consistent and regulatory-based manner. The course will comprise of both classroom sessions/trainings as well as hands-on field exercises.

Objectives:
  1. To provide classroom sessions focused on RCRA Sampling Procedures Handbook;
  2. To provide effective and complete training for site investigations;
  3. Address more frequent sampling activities such as Compliance Evaluation Inspections and Environmental Indicators data gap assessments; and,
  4. Participation in Hands-on field exercises that focus on soil, surface water/sediment, groundwater sampling; and the installation techniques for installation of temporary wells.
