CEC Presents...HQ Support Lines are hour-long live online sessions hosted by the CERCLA Education Center. The sessions will have presentations from EPA headquarters staff who have lines of support to regional Superfund staff. A virtual MS Teams meeting on the Ground Water Forum (GWF). Time will be allowed for an introduction to GWF and its services followed by a Q&A session. Below is some background information on the GWF. Register to learn more!

The Ground Water Forum is a group of groundwater scientists that support the Superfund and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) programs in each of the 10 EPA regional offices.

The group was organized to:

• Promote consistent application of groundwater guidance among EPA regions
• Work with ORD to identify research needs and perform research to improve application of approaches for investigating and remediating sites
• Develop and review publications that improve how EPA characterizes and addresses groundwater sites
• Provide training to the regions, RPMs, and state partners
• Exchange information related to groundwater remediation at Superfund and RCRA sites
• The group is composed of regional members, state participants, EPA headquarters, ORD, laboratories, and friends.
