This course, sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, familiarizes federal, state, local, and tribal government employees with the radiation survey and site investigation methods in the MARSSIM. MARSSIM provides detailed guidance for planning, implementing, and evaluating environmental and facility radiological surveys conducted to demonstrate compliance with a dose- or risk-based regulation. Course is free. Registration is limited to federal, state, tribal, and local government employees only. Attendees must attend all three days to receive credit.

The Department of Toxic Substances Control building is a secure facility. Visitors must be pre-registered and will need to check with the receptionist, who will have your name on an approved entry list. Parking is available at the facility, but when you sign in, you will be given a visitor parking permit that must be displayed in your car. After signing in, you will be directed to the Auditorium on the third floor.
