National Site Assessment Symposium (NSAS) Training Program

The 2018 National Site Assessment Symposium (NSAS) Training Program will be held Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel in Denver, Colorado.

In conjunction with the 2018 NSAS Training Program, the EPA Regional Managers and the Association of State and Territorial Solid Waste Management Officials, Inc. (ASTSWMO) will hold workshops on Monday, December 3, 2018. The EPA Regional Managers Leadership Workshop is open to EPA attendees only. The ASTSWMO States-only Workshop is open to State attendees only.

Registration for the 2018 NSAS Training Program is now closed. Registration is by invitation only to EPA staff as well as other Federal agency, tribal, state and local government representatives. The training program is not open to the private sector. All participants must register to attend the training program, including training course instructors and presenters, plenary speakers and those attending the Monday workshops. If you still need to register, please contact Jodi McCarty, ICF, by email at Jodi.McCarty@icf.com. All registered participants will receive a hardcopy of their schedule when they check-in onsite at the training program. If you require an electronic copy of your schedule, please contact Jodi McCarty.

The cut-off date to make your sleeping room reservation at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel was Friday, November 9, 2018. If you still need a sleeping room reservation, please contact Jodi McCarty, ICF, by email at Jodi.McCarty@icf.com. Additional information about the hotel and the surrounding area can also be found on the Travel page and in the December 2018 NSAS Training Program travel and lodging document.

For EPA staff traveling to Denver, the site-specific project code for the 2018 NSAS Training Program must be entered or edited on your Travel Authorization/Voucher. The project code for the 2018 NSAS Training Program is MM757203. Directions on entering the site-specific project code can be found on the Travel page under the Travel Authorization (TA) and Project Code tab. EPA staff can also find instructions on completing an SF-182 by visiting the Travel page and selecting the SF-182 tab.
