| Event Description: | This course provides the basic information needed to meet the annual refresher requirements in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) for workers at hazardous waste sites who have already completed their initial 40-hour or 24-hour HAZWOPER training. | Additional Information: | US EPA HQ Personnel ONLY. This course is presented in an online platform to address the current training needs consistent with the COVID-19 March 15, 2020 OMBs guidance (OMB M-20-15) issued for the National Captial Region and updated information provided. This Refresher course is presented 8am-5pm EST Wednesday February 17, 2021 through Adobe Connect online platform. Full attendance, participation in interactive quizzes & polls, and answering 75% of the test questions are required to receive the course completion certificate. Training participation instructions will be provided by email prior to the course start date. |
