Event Description: |
Communication is necessary to convey information and work together. There are some conversations that will be challenging, but we can approach them in ways that will lead to better outcomes. In this course, EPA staff that work with Superfund stakeholders will learn what makes a conversation difficult, use a variety of tools to diagnose difficulties, and prepare for, open, and persevere through a difficult conversation.
Audience: EPA staff who work with Superfund stakeholders who encounter difficult conversations during public involvement activities and/or in the daily work of executing effective environmental policy. Primarily, Superfund CICs, RPMs, and OSCs.
